This calculator uses the following planning method:
Box volume = internal length × internal width × internal height
Worked example
A 12 × 10 × 8 in box has 960 in³ of internal volume, equal to about 15.73 L or 0.56 ft³.
How to interpret the result
Internal volume helps compare cartons and estimate unused space. It does not by itself prove that a product shape will fit.
Assumptions and limitations
The box is treated as a perfect rectangular prism. Use internal dimensions when estimating usable capacity.
